Dear Secretary Lew:

I am joining my voice with my fellow Americans, including Members of Congress, to express my deep concern with the recent admission by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) that it singled out conservative political groups for additional scrutiny during the 2012 election cycle. The Associated Press reported that Lois Lerner, the IRS head for tax-exempt groups, admitted that IRS treated these groups unfairly, to include screening organizations with “tea party” or “patriot” in tax-exempt status applications and even asking for donor lists, which is a violation of IRS policy.

Ms. Lerner’s revelations are very disturbing. In March 2012, then-IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman testified before the House Ways and Means Committee and stated that conservative political groups were not being targeted. It is hard to reconcile Commissioner Shulman’s testimony with Ms. Lerner’s subsequent admission of unfair and discriminatory action leveled against tea party groups. It appears like the IRS is following the familiar script of blaming “low level” officials for mistakes that may violate IRS policy at best and federal election law at worst. It is difficult for me to accept that higher level IRS and Treasury officials are blameless.

Many Members of Congress reported hearing numerous complaints from conservative organizations that the IRS was singling them out. Instead of the truth, they were offered now-discredited assurances during the 2012 election cycle that no “flagging” of conservative and tea party groups was occurring.

I respectfully ask that you provide Congress with answers to all of their questions regarding notifying the organizations that were targeted; the donor lists that were solicited from these groups; any internal investigations conducted prior to IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman emphatic denial of targeting Tea Party groups; and finally, whether the IRS bothered to also flag organizations on the left, such as those associated with the so-called “Occupy Wall Street” movement.

I’m calling on you and the Obama administration to make available, completely and without restriction, everyone who can answer the questions Congress has as to what was going on at the IRS, who knew about it, and how high it went. No more stonewalling, no more incomplete answers, no more misleading responses, no holding back witnesses, no matter how senior their current or former positions — Congress needs full transparency and cooperation. The American people deserve answers.

I look forward to your prompt action on this important matter.

While those most affected in this situation were groups and organizations affiliated with the Tea Party movement, ALL Americans deserve to know to what extent partisan politics is affecting the everyday decision making process at the IRS. The IRS Has Been EXPOSED for Targeting Tea Party & Other Conservatives — Select Here to DEMAND Congress TAKE ACTION Against the IRS!

ALERT: It’s time to FIGHT BACK against the IRS!

We alerted you earlier to the reports about how the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has admitted that they deliberately harassed conservative political organizations claiming tax exempt status, such as Tea Party groups, by singling them out for additional scrutiny and investigation.

Lois Lerner, who heads the IRS division that oversees tax exempt groups, has admitted that at least 75 organizations were singled out because they included the words “tea party” or “patriot” in their applications for tax exempt status. While she acknowledged that actions were clearly violations of IRS policies, she laid the blame on “low-level workers” in the Cincinnati IRS office.

Now, the Feds have finally been outed for their anti-conservative policies of harassment — and it’s time for patriotic conservatives to start taking action to hold them accountable for it!

IT’S TIME TO MAKE IT A CRIME FOR THE IRS TO TARGET GROUPS FOR POLITICAL PAYBACK!

SEND A MESSAGE TO EVERY SINGLE MEMBER
OF CONGRESS, DEMANDING THEY MAKE IRS
POLITICAL DISCRIMINATION A FELONY, NOT
JUST A SLAP ON THE WRIST:

SEND YOUR MESSAGE NOW!

Many of us have suspected that we were being targeted by the Obama regime for a long time now… but they kept denying it.

In fact, Ms. Lerner’s statements directly contradicted the testimony of then-IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman during a hearing of the House Ways and Means Committee in March 2012. At the time, Mr. Shulman stated unequivocally that “there is absolutely no targeting” and that “this is the kind of back and forth that happens to people” who apply for tax exempt status.

In other words, the IRS lied… to CONGRESS. Big surprise, huh?

The IRS’ inappropriate and intimidating investigation tactics included probing questions about organizations’ board members, officers, employees, and their families. There were also demands for extraordinary detail on employee training, vending, and advertising. Among other IRS demands, they required lists of “all issues important to your organization” with requests to “indicate your position regarding each issue.”

IRS agents singled out dozens of organizations for additional reviews because they included the words “tea party” or “patriot” in their exemption applications, said Lois Lerner, who heads the IRS division that oversees tax-exempt groups. In some cases, groups were asked for lists of donors, which already violates IRS policy in most cases.

The admission by the Obama administration that the Internal Revenue Service targeted political opponents echoes some of the most shameful abuses of government power in 20th century American history. A government organization like the IRS discriminating against political organizations is an outrageous abuse of power, and the American people have every right to demand answers and accountability. Those responsible individuals should face all appropriate punishment available under current law, AND all organizations and individuals who engage in political speech and expression should be protected against this kind of discriminatory behavior in the future.

We MUST NOT ALLOW the Obama regime to get away with this! Government officials who target political groups for IRS HARASSMENT need to be punished, not just fired!

Currently, IRS employees who discriminate against taxpayers may be subject to termination… but only at the “discretion” of their supervisors. But a new bill, introduced by Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH) and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), would increase the maximum penalty to a $5,000 fine, 5 years in prison, or both — which is the same maximum penalty for a member of the president’s cabinet who directs an employee to take that sort of action.

Dubbed the “Taxpayer Nondiscrimination and Protection Act,” this bill would amend Title 18 of the U.S. Code to make it a crime for an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) employee to
discriminate against an individual or group on the basis of their protected rights. In addition, it expressly clarifies that political speech and political expression are protected rights.

Americans of ALL political beliefs have been rightly outraged by the revelation of the IRS’ efforts to target certain political organizations. The fact that this could occur with little to no corrective action against those who seek to silence their fellow citizens is unacceptable. Americans should not have to wonder if their government is actively looking to subvert them or their political views. We live in a nation where respect for differing beliefs and a vibrant political discourse play an important role in shaping our government.

This is about protecting the rights of all Americans, and their ability to freely express their political thoughts. That’s why we need to take immediate action and get this bill passed! But we need YOUR help — send your Blast Faxes to every single Member of Congress NOW!

P.S. The most recent IRS Commissioner has already been forced to resign in the wake of this growing scandal. As we’ve learned more and more, it’s clear that the targeting wasn’t limited to an IRS office out in Cincinnati — as the White House claimed last week — but that it reached all the way to IRS headquarters in Washington. No doubt, we’ll soon learn that this goes ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP. The Obama regime thinks it can avoid a full investigation and punishment of the IRS thugs who perpetrated (and likely continue to perpetrate) these kinds of harassments.

WE MUST NOT LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT! IT’S TIME TO MAKE IT A CRIME FOR THE IRS TO TARGET GROUPS FOR POLITICAL PAYBACK! You and I need to STAND UP and DEMAND that Congress TAKE ACTION NOW!

Obama is GUILTY of High Crimes and Misdemeanors — Select Here to DEMAND Congress IMPEACH OBAMA!

ALERT: ANOTHER elected official — this time a U.S. SENATOR — is saying that the actions of Barack Hussein Obama rise to the level of impeachable offenses!

According to a report at The Hill, Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK) is now suggesting that President Obama could be impeached over the White House’s cover-up after last yearís attack in Benghazi, Libya:

Inhofe, the top Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee, said in an interview Thursday with “The Rusty Humphries Show” that impeachment would become an issue soon over the “greatest cover-up in American history.” “People may be starting to use the I-word before too long,” Inhofe said.”The I-word meaning impeachment?” Humphries asked. “Yeah,” Inhofe responded. “Of all the great cover-ups in history — the Pentagon papers, Iran-Contra, Watergate, all the rest of them — this … is going to go down as most egregious cover-up in American history,” Inhofe said.

FINALLY, more and more Members of Congress are starting to pay attention to YOU AND I and our DEMANDS that they IMPEACH BARACK OBAMA — but we need MORE of them to come on board NOW!

THEY’RE STARTING TO WAKE UP — NOW IT’S UP TO US TO FORCE CONGRESS TO TAKE ACTION TO IMPEACH OBAMA!

SEND A MESSAGE TO EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF CONGRESS, DEMANDING THEY IMPEACH AND REMOVE FROM OFFICE PRESIDENT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA:

SEND YOUR MESSAGE NOW!

By now, I’m sure you’ve seen the explosive testimony from the “Benghazi Whistleblowers” — testimony that places the blame for the deaths of four brave Americans squarely on the heads of the Obama regime. One report summarized it well:

Special operations forces were told, twice, by their chain of command not to board aircraftto Benghazi to rescue the Americans then under attack; Secretary of State Hillary Clinton denied requests to beef up security at Benghazi and then blamed Ambassador Stevens’ death on a YouTube movie; Clinton was never told that a movie had anything to do with the attack by those on the ground in Libya, yet blamed the movie anyway; whistleblowers were intimidated into silence; and Clinton, Ambassador Susan Rice, and President Barack Obama himself all apparently took part in the decision to blame the movie.

Barack Hussein Obama’s pattern of lies and corruption continues. As Sean Hannity commented, “After waiting nearly eight months to get more information on exactly what happened surrounding the terrorist attack in Benghazi, three brave whistle-blowers from the State Department finally told their stories to a Congressional committee… At the end of the day, the stories of the heroism and bravery told by Greg Hicks of those people on the ground in Libya who did everything they could to protect their colleagues was extraordinary. However, I remain furious over what I believe to be this administration deliberately lying to the American people in pursuit of power… Can we allow politicians of any political party to lie to the American people, to deliberately change the truth, in order to maintain power? The answer is not only no, but heck no.”

SEAN HANNITY IS CORRECT — WE HAVE TO PUT A STOP TO THIS! IT’S TIME TO IMPEACH BARACK OBAMA!

SEND A MESSAGE TO EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF CONGRESS, DEMANDING THEY IMPEACH AND REMOVE FROM OFFICE PRESIDENT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA:

SEND YOUR MESSAGE NOW!

NOW is our best opportunity to finally IMPEACH Obama — because NOW is when momentum is building to critical mass, with more and more people calling for Obama’s ouster!

Glenn Beck has accused the White House of covering up suspects in the Boston terrorist attack — and is calling for President Barack Hussein Obama to be IMPEACHED.

And Rush Limbaugh says that Obama’s recent actions leading to the release of thousands of illegal alien criminals from our jails is an impeachable offense.

Beck has revealed that a Saudi national is a suspect in that bombing– but the media has covered it up:

“When I found out yesterday, who that guy is and what we have on him, and how our media was rooting for an American to be the killer. And how our president, this administration, the Department of Homeland Security, and everything else. How they have covered this up. How they have aided and abetted this guy is obscene, and itís criminal. Itís out of control, and when America knows the full story on this, if she doesnít stand up, and quite honestly, I think demand impeachment and the mass firing if not shutting down of agencies, we donít stand a chance.”

According to Beck (see the video provided), we have reached the “beginning of the end for so much of this administration… This is much bigger than we thought.” A massive cover-up

continues and Janet Napolitano, who Glenn feels will get jail time for her role in this cover-up, is going to be the first to fall. Will Barack Obama soon be impeached for his role in covering-up US government ties to terror in our own country?

This report from Beck contains much more new information, including news that unnamed and heroic federal law enforcement agents are deeply involved in investigating this cover-up, and several other news organizations have censored reports from their own reporters and investigators.

Before Glenn Beck’s report even came out, Rush Limbaugh, the nationís highest-rated radio talk-show host, was already the latest public figure to suggest that President Obama could be impeached, over his actions related to the so-called “sequester.” This time, his regime decided to release what could end up being “a total of nearly 10,000 illegal immigrants“ from jails and prisons… before any budget cuts even went into effect!

On Limbaugh’s Feb. 27th show, stated:

“The president of the United States has opened up the jails. The president of the United States, because of budget cuts which have not happened yet, has released 500 or so illegal immigrants, and, by definition, of law, they are criminals… Janet ‘Big Sis’ Napolitano says that because the sequester is gonna cut 1% of their $2 billion detention budget, they will no longer be able to afford to detain as many as 30,000 criminals….In what used to be considered, if we can remember this far back, normal, sane times, this is an impeachable offense. This is in direct violation of the oath of office. Defend and protect the Constitution of the United States and the people. We’re opening the doors of prisons before the sequester has even happened, before there have even been any budget cuts. This is so childish, except the consequences are real for people that live nearby these detention centers. This is on-the-ground, hard, cold reality…

Let’s not forget, thanks to Obama’s various executive orders, ICE, the immigration people, no longer detain any illegal aliens unless they’ve been convicted of a serious crime. That’s who we’re talking about here. You have to commit a serious crime before we detain you, if you’re illegal. So this isn’t just a bunch of discriminated against freedom fighters that have been wrongly jailed finally seeing freedom at all. These really are convicted criminals that are being released.”

RUSH IS CORRECT — now we have another impeachable offense by Barack Hussein Obama!

WE HAVE TO PUT A STOP TO THIS! IT’S TIME TO IMPEACH BARACK OBAMA!

SEND A MESSAGE TO EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF CONGRESS, DEMANDING THEY IMPEACH AND REMOVE FROM OFFICE PRESIDENT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA:

SEND YOUR MESSAGE NOW!

Of course, this comes hot on the heels of the latest impeachable offenses by President Obama — this time, this time, trying to impose gun control on our country. The American people have been successful (so far) in stopping Congress from passing new laws that would violate the 2nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution… but now Barack Hussein Obama is threatening to impose “gun control” by Executive Order in order to BYPASS Congress!

At his press conference recently, Obama floated the possibility of using “executive action” to enact policies aimed at “reducing gun violence,” stating that, “I’m confident that there are

some steps that we can take that don’t require legislation and that are within my authority as president.”

In response, a U.S. Congressman is now threatening to IMPEACH OBAMA if he takes such actions against gun rights. Rep. Steve Stockman (R-TX) has threatened that he would file articles of impeachment against President Obama if he institutes gun control measures with an executive order:

“I will seek to thwart this action by any means necessary, including but not limited to eliminating funding for implementation, defunding the White House, and even filing articles of impeachment… Any proposal to abuse executive power and infringe upon gun rights must be repelled with the stiffest legislative force possible. Under no circumstances whatsoever may the government take any action that disarms any peaceable person — much less without due process through an executive declaration without a vote of Congress or a ruling of a court.”

Stockman warned that such executive orders would be “unconstitutional” and “infringe on our constitutionally-protected right to keep and bear arms.” He concluded by claiming that an executive order would be not just “not just an attack on the Constitution,” but also an “attack on Americans. If the president is allowed to suspend constitutional rights on his own personal whims, our free republic has effectively ceased to exist,” he said.

FINALLY, A CONGRESSMAN WHO GETS IT! NOW IT’S UP TO US TO KEEP PUSHING THE REST OF THEM TO IMPEACH BARACK OBAMA!

SEND A MESSAGE TO EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF CONGRESS, DEMANDING THEY IMPEACH AND REMOVE FROM OFFICE PRESIDENT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA:

SEND YOUR MESSAGE NOW!

Apparently, more and more Americans are starting to agree with Rep. Stockman — and with YOU! A new scientific poll is out, that
shows nearly HALF of Americans are now in favor of IMPEACHING BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA!

The new WND/Wenzel Poll is stunning in its details:

44% say Obama should be impeached for his campaign for amnesty for illegal aliens

46% say he should be impeached launching a war in Libya

43% say he should be impeached over his deciding on his own what is and is not a Congressional recess appointment

51% say he should be impeached over his appointment of dozens of “czars” without any congressional oversight or approval

44% say Obama should be impeached for his fight with Arizona over enforcing immigration laws

40% say he should be impeached for how the Defense of Marriage Act was handled

60% disagree with his drone killings of American citizens overseas

47% — including 1 in 6 Democrats — rate Obama’s job performance as “poor”

We’re getting closer and closer to a majority of Americans who agree that Obama deserves to be impeached…

NOW WE NEED TO CONVINCE CONGRESS TO IMPEACH OBAMA!

But what has Barack Obama already done to deserve IMPEACHMENT?

Constitution Lawyer Michael Connelly recently published a comprehensive list of what he calls his “dirty dozen of impeachable offenses” committed by President Barack Hussein Obama — “offenses that subject him to being impeached by the Congress of the United States”. He emphatically states, “President Obama has actively attempted to subvert, ignore, and completely destroy large parts of the Constitution. I believe the President of the United States is well aware of what he is doing, and it is completely intentional.”

Connelly’s “dirty dozen” list has been viewed online more than 25 MILLION TIMES — it’s time to force Congress to TAKE ACTION and IMPEACH OBAMA, once and for all!

Constitutional Attorney Connelly lists his “dirty dozen” of Obama’s impeachable offenses:

President Obama has appointed numerous people to cabinet level positions without the advice and consent of the U.S. Senate, as is required by the Constitution.

The push by Pres. Obama to pass healthcare legislation in the Congress of the United States that he was fully aware was unconstitutional.

Despite the fact that the United States Senate refused to pass the Cap and Trade bill, the President has ordered the Environmental Protection Agency to use regulations to implement key portions of the bill, including those regulating so-called greenhouse gases… in direct defiance of the will of the people of the United States, the will of Congress, and the Constitution.

Obama has placed a moratorium on offshore oil drilling or exploration off both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts of the United States and in parts of the Gulf of Mexico. He has also prohibited new drilling exploration on federal land in any states in the United States… in direct defiance of several court orders issued by Federal Judge Martin Feldman in New Orleans.

Instead of allowing American companies to drill for oil domestically, Obama hasbetrayed the American people and authorized loans of billions of dollars to countries like Brazil and Mexico so that they can drill for oil, and then sell that oil to the United States. Obama has also refused to approve the keystone pipeline from Canada to the United States that would not only lessen our dependence on oil from countries like Venezuela and Saudi Arabia, but create thousands of new jobs in the United States. The decision on the pipeline is one that belongs in the hands of the members of Congress, not the President.

President Obama has abdicated his responsibility to enforce the laws of the United States against illegal immigration. He has virtually declared our southern border an open border by declaring certain areas of federal land in states like Arizona as off-limits to federal, state, and local authorities… He has also ordered the border patrol not to arrest most illegal immigrants entering the country, and has stopped deportation proceedings against thousands of people in this country illegally. He is in effect instituting the so-called “dream act” bypassing the Congress of the United States which has sole authority over immigration matters.

The President and his Attorney General Eric Holder have clearly violated their oath of office by joining with foreign countries such as Mexico, Bolivia, and Columbia, in lawsuits against the sovereign states of Arizona, Georgia, and Alabama to stop them from enforcing the federal immigration laws.

President Obama has ordered the Federal Communications Commission to adopt regulations giving the federal government control of the Internet and its contents, including providing Obama with a kill switch that gives him authority to shut down the Internet if he sees fit. This is in direct violation of a decision by the United States Supreme Court that the FCC has no Constitutional authority to control the Internet.

Obama has unilaterally declared that the Defense of Marriage Act passed by the Congress is unconstitutional, and further declared that he will not have the Justice Department defend it against lawsuits. His administration has also refused to enforce laws against voter intimidation and federal law that requires states to purge their voter registration lists of deceased individuals and those that are registered illegally. In addition, the Justice Department is refusing to allow states to enforce laws requiring proof of identity by voters at the polls. Obama has essentially said that he is the supreme ruler of the United States, and that the Congress and the Federal Judiciary are irrelevant.

It has been widely reported that acting through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms the Obama administration was involved for months in getting legitimate and law-abiding gun store owners along our southern border to supply weapons to straw buyers who the government knew would deliver them to the drug cartels in Mexico. The administration has, in effect, armed our enemies, and one border patrol agent has already been killed by one of these weapons. Now, Obama continues to impose gun control laws by Executive order so he will not have to deal with Congress. The administration is also refusing to cooperate with the committees in the House of Representatives that are investigating the entire operation. It is even defying Congressional subpoenas.

The President of the United States is not authorized by the Constitution to take our nation to war without the consent of the Congress of the United States. The President committed members of the United States military to combat missions in a foreign country (Libya) without the consent of Congress. He based his authority on a United Nations resolution, and a resolution by the Arab League. Now, administration is taking the position that it can ignore Congress as long as it has United Nations approval or NATO approval. The White House also insisted that language be included in the recently passed National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that gives the President sole authority to order the military to arrest and indefinite detain American citizens on U.S. soil if the President suspects them of terrorist ties, followed almost immediately by another unconstitutional executive order titled the National Defense Resources Preparation order. It includes language that appears to give Obama the authority to declare martial law in peacetime, and take over the allocation of everything from food and fuel to transportation and health care. This violates the Constitution in a number of different ways.

Since taking office the President has used executive orders, laws pushed through Congress in the dark of night, and administrative actions by his departments to nationalize and control automobile manufacturers, banks, insurance companies, and portions of the healthcare industry. This is designed to take our country from a free enterprise economy to a socialist economy. There is absolutely no authority in the Constitution of the United States that allows the President to do this.

This “dirty dozen” list of impeachable offenses committed by Barack Obama is just the TIP OF THE ICEBERG! It’s time to GET HIM OUT OF OFFICE!

SEND A MESSAGE TO EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF CONGRESS, DEMANDING THEY IMPEACH AND REMOVE FROM OFFICE PRESIDENT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA:

SEND YOUR MESSAGE NOW!

There are SO MANY impeachable offenses that have been committed by Barack Hussein Obama…

HERE’S THE LATEST:

It’s THE LAW that every year, the President is REQUIRED to submit a budget to Congress. He is REQUIRED BY LAW to submit a budget no earlier than the first Monday in January, and no later than the first Monday in February.

The law (31 U.S.C. 1105(a)) reads: “On or after the first Monday in January but not later than the first Monday in February of each year, the President shall submit a budget of the United States Government for the following fiscal year.”

So, President Obama sent his budget to Congress by February 4th… right?

WRONG. In fact, the White House is now saying Obama’s budget “will probably come out April 8.” And it’s NOT the first time this has happened — in fact, it’s the FOURTH time in five years the president has FAILED to submit a budget on time!

Obama’s NEVER late on picking his Final Four bracket teams… but he’s almost ALWAYS late on obeying the LAW and submitting a budget to Congress in time!

Do you GET that? President Barack Obama has BROKEN THE LAW over and over and over and over again — with impunity! It’s not a felony… but it IS a misdemeanor… which is an IMPEACHABLE OFFENSE!

SEND A MESSAGE TO EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF CONGRESS, DEMANDING THEY IMPEACH AND REMOVE FROM OFFICE PRESIDENT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA:

SEND YOUR MESSAGE NOW!

Judge Andrew Napolitano, now a Legal Analyst at Fox News, is the latest legal figure to suggest that President Obama could be impeached over spending cuts in the so-called “sequester.”

After Fox’s Steve Doocy noted that Obama and his administration were “scaring the living daylights out of people,” and that “He’s become President Panic,” Napolitano replied:

“This is almost an impeachable offense. If the president is deciding how to spend money in order to hurt us, rather than in order to provide us with the services for which we have paid and for which we have hired him, he is doing the opposite of what he has taken an oath to do… He has taken an oath to uphold the laws. That means make the government work. Don’t make it painful, find a way to make it work on 2 percent less… That’s the way the constitution works!”

More and more reports are coming out, saying that Barack Hussein Obama is blatantly and deliberately violating the U.S. Constitution — which is an IMPEACHABLE OFFENSE! The latest article is in the Washington Post, entitled, “Obama’s recess appointments are unconstitutional” — calling Obama’s actions “a constitutional abuse of a high order“!

The United States Constitution isn’t “optional” — it’s the law of the land. And it states very clearly in Article II, Section 4: “The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

President Barack Hussein Obama has committed multiple “high crimes and misdemeanors” — because deliberately violating that same Constitution IS a high crime!

The recent Washington Post article, written by Edwin Meese III and Todd Gaziano (a former U.S. attorney general and a former Office of Legal Counsel lawyer who provided advice to presidents on recess appointment issues), laid this issue out very clearly: “President Obama’s attempt to unilaterally appoint three people to seats… is more than an unconstitutional attempt to circumvent the Senate’s advise-and-consent role. It is a breathtaking violation of the separation of powers and the duty of comity that the executive owes to Congress… never before has a president purported to make a ‘recess’ appointment when the Senate is demonstrably not in recess. That is a constitutional abuse of a high order.”

The United States Constitution, in Article II, Section 1, states that before anyone can be President, he has to take the following Oath:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

Obama took that oath. Again. This time, he put his hand on TWO Bibles when he spoke those words. And in so doing, one thing is very clear: HE LIED.

SEND A MESSAGE TO EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF CONGRESS, DEMANDING THEY IMPEACH AND REMOVE FROM OFFICE PRESIDENT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA:

SEND YOUR MESSAGE NOW!

So exactly how has Barack Obama blatantly and repeatedly violated the very Constitution that he has sworn to uphold?

Well, let’s start with the most recent example: he made unconstitutional “recess appointments” to the CFPB and the labor union-friendly NLRB. As reported by Michael Barone at Real Clear Politics:

“Unfortunately, the 44th president is running an administration that too often seems to ignore the rule of law. “We can’t wait,” Barack Obama took to saying after the Republicans captured a majority in the House and refused to pass laws he wanted. He would act to get what he wanted regardless of law.

One example: his recess appointments in January 2012 of three members of the National Labor Relations Board and the head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Last month, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ruled unanimously that the NLRB recess appointments were unconstitutional.

YOU READ THAT RIGHT — a federal court found Obama GUILTY of deliberately violating the U.S. Constitution, when he granted “recess appointments” to his cronies… when the Senate was NOT in recess!

As Barone went on to explain, “The decision, written by Judge David Sentelle, noted that the Constitution speaks of ‘the recess,’ not ‘a recess,’ and reasoned that it could only be referring to the recess between annual sessions of Congress.”

Now, granted, a lot of presidents have interpreted the phrase as referring to any recess during which Congress is not in session. But that wasn’t enough for Obama — he decided to take things much further. As Meese and Gaziano report, not only was the Senate NOT in recess when these purported appointments were made; it constitutionally could not have been!

Article I, Section 5, of the Constitution states that neither house of Congress may adjourn for more than three days without the consent of the other house. The House of Representatives did not consent to a Senate recess of more than three days at the end of last year, and so the Senate, consistent with the requirements of the Constitution, must have some sort of session every few days. The president and anyone else may object that the Senate is conducting “pro forma” sessions, but that does not render them constitutionally meaningless, as some have argued. In fact, the Senate did pass a bill during a supposedly “pro forma” session on Dec. 23, a matter the White House took notice of since the president signed the bill into law. The president cannot pick and choose when he deems a Senate session to be “real.”

It does not matter one whit that most members of Congress are out of town and allow business to be conducted by their agents under unanimous consent procedures, because ending a session of Congress requires the passage of a formal resolution, which never occurred and could not have occurred without the consent of the House.”

When Harry Reid became Senate majority leader in 2007, in order to keep George W. Bush from making any recess appointments that Reid didn’t like, he started holding what are referred to as “pro forma” meetings of the Senate every three days, and stating that the Senate was not in recess. President Bush, who had made recess appointments before, stopped doing any more of them, because of Reid’s actions.

President Bush took the view that, since the Constitution says that each branch of Congress makes its own rules, the Senate WAS in session if the Senate SAID it was. But NOT Barack Obama! HE took the view that HE would decide whether or not the Senate was in session. WHO CARES what the Constitution says, right?

Well, as federal judge Sentelle pointed out, Obama’s view would entitle the president to make a recess appointment any time he wanted to — even if the Senate just broke for lunch! “This cannot be the law,” the judge wrote!

IT’S NOT THE LAW — in fact, under Obama’s view, the Senate’s power to advise and consent could effectively vanish! WE have to do everything WE can to STOP OBAMA from destroying the U.S Constituion — and that means he must be IMPEACHED NOW!

SEND A MESSAGE TO EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF CONGRESS, DEMANDING THEY IMPEACH AND REMOVE FROM OFFICE PRESIDENT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA:

SEND YOUR MESSAGE NOW!

It seems like a drastic step to take: impeaching and removing the President of the United States. But with SO MANY repeated and deliberate violations of the U.S. Constitution, drastic times require drastic measures.

WE MUST at least TRY to get Obama OUT of the White House, before he completely GUTS the Constitution — but we can’t do it without YOUR HELP! If we can FLOOD the offices of every single Senator and Congressman, demanding that they IMPEACH Obama and REMOVE him from office — we CAN save America! But we need YOUR help — send your Blast Faxes to every single Member of Congress NOW!

P.S. Former Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO) wrote recently in regards to Barack Hussein Obama’s actions, “President Obama can only be emboldened by the lack of impeachment proceedings. His violations typically arouse a short-lived tempest among some conservatives, yet impeachment is not generally advocated by his critics as a realistic recourse. THAT MUST CHANGE.”

As Tancredo noted, the grounds for House impeachment proceedings have been laid by Obama’s own actions. A list of his unconstitutional and illegal actions “would embarrass any honest public official and makes Nixon’s Watergate cover-up look like a college fraternity house panty raid.”

IT’S TIME TO STOP BARACK OBAMA’S DIRECT VIOLATIONS OF THE U.S. CONSTITUTION! THESE PEOPLE WON’T STOP UNTIL THEY HAVE DESTROYED THE CONSTITUTION ITSELF! You and I need to STAND UP and DEMAND that Congress finally do their duty… and IMPEACH OBAMA! TAKE ACTION NOW!

Rival legal teams, well-financed and highly motivated, are girding for court battles over the coming months on laws enacted in Arkansas and North Dakota that would impose the nation’s toughest bans on abortion.

For all their differences, attorneys for the two states and the abortion-rights supporters opposing them agree on this: The laws represent an unprecedented frontal assault on the Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that established a nationwide right to abortion.

The Arkansas law, approved March 6 when legislators overrode a veto by Democratic Gov. Mike Beebe, would ban most abortions from the 12th week of pregnancy onward. On March 26, North Dakota went further, with Republican Gov. Jack Dalrymple signing a measure that would ban abortions as early as six weeks into a pregnancy, when a fetal heartbeat can first be detected and before some women even know they’re pregnant.

Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio has demanded public hearings on the pending immigration bill, complicating Democrats’ plans to rush the high-stakes measure through the Senate’s judiciary committee by the end of April.

“A rush to legislate, without fully considering all views and input from all senators, would be fatal to the effort of earning the public’s confidence” in the pending bill, Rubio said in a March 30 letter to Sen. Patrick Leahy, the chairman of Senate judiciary committee.

Last week, Leahy announced that he intended to rush the draft immigration bill through his committee to the Senate floor without holding any hearings.

In trying to clear up the ‘misconceptions’ about the conduct of fusion centers, Arkansas State Fusion Center Director Richard Davis simply confirmed Americans’ fears: the center does in fact spy on Americans – but only on those who are suspected to be ‘anti-government’.

DEBATE about the reality of a two-decade pause in global warming and what it means has made its way from the sceptical fringe to the mainstream.

In a lengthy article this week, The Economist magazine said if climate scientists were credit-rating agencies, then climate sensitivity – the way climate reacts to changes in carbon-dioxide levels – would be on negative watch but not yet downgraded…

But the fact that global surface temperatures have not followed the expected global warming pattern is now widely accepted.

Research by Ed Hawkins of University of Reading shows surface temperatures since 2005 are already at the low end of the range projections derived from 20 climate models and if they remain flat, they will fall outside the models’ range within a few years.

That’s the verdict from one conservative think tank, CBS 2’s Lou Young reported.

The study in question is talking mostly about taxes and business regulation. The libertarian think tank at George Mason University in Virginia says New York is dead last in freedom. Most people seem to think that’s a stretch, but many said they see the point.

For the first time since 1981, when it dubbed sex-change operations “experimental,” Medicare has opened the door to covering transexual operations, adding to the growing list of operations that would be allowed under Obamacare.

Acting on a new request, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services said it is starting a new analysis that could lift the spending ban for sex-change operations with a goal of making a decision two days after Christmas and on the eve of Obamacare kicking in Jan. 1.

A 30-day public comment period just opened on the proposed “National Coverage Determination.”

Pete Winn at CNS News reports:

The federally chartered Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank) has approved a $28.6 million direct loan to a high-tech wind power company in the Central American country of Honduras.

The loan will enable 200 workers in six U.S. states to assemble 12 high-tech wind turbines for export. The cost of those jobs works out to $143,000 per job created.

According to the Ex-Im Bank, the transaction will help to expand a project first supported by the bank in 2010, when its long-term financing of 51 U.S.-built turbine generators established the Cerro de Hula Wind Farm in Santa Ana, Honduras.

Gamesa Wind US, LLC, a technology firm based in Trevose, Pa., will supply and export six each of its high-efficiency model G-87 and G-97, 2.0 MegaWatt turbines to generate electric power in rural Honduras. Gamesa is the U.S. subsidiary of Gamesa Tecnologicos SA, a company based in Spain.

The bank said the loan “is demonstrating the importance of its role to fill gaps in financing for creditworthy borrowers.”

“With this project, we’ve achieved an impressive win all around: for exporters, for U.S. workers, and for energy consumers in Honduras, because the wind-driven generators cost less to operate than their equivalent in fossil-fueled equipment,” Ex-Im Bank Chairman and President Fred P. Hochberg said in a statement.

The Ex-Im Bank is an independent federal agency a federally chartered agency of the U.S. government, which “helps to create and maintain U.S. jobs by filling gaps in private export financing at no cost to American taxpayers,” according to bank promotional materials.

“In the past five years (from Fiscal Year 2008), Ex-Im Bank has earned for U.S. taxpayers nearly $1.6 billion above the cost of operations,” according to the bank.

The Bank provides a variety of financing mechanisms, including working capital guarantees, export-credit insurance and financing to help foreign buyers purchase U.S. goods and services.

However, critics point to the fact that U.S. taxpayers do indeed back the loans made or guaranteed by the bank – and U.S. taxpayers would be called on to cover loans in the case of default.

Conservative groups also say the Ex-Im Bank is an unwarranted government intrusion into the free-market system and unaccountable in how it dispenses U.S. money.

Efforts led by Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) to abolish the bank fell short last May, when the Senate voted 78-20 to renew its charter for three years and to raise the bank’s lending cap from the current $100 billion to $140 billion.
