On Saturday, the White House marked the 57th anniversary of the day Rosa Parks refused to give up her bus seat by tweeting a picture of Barack Obama sitting in the bus where Parks stood her ground.

“Today is the 57th Anniversary of the day Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat,” the White House tweeted.

The picture was taken during a fundraising trip in April at the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit, where the bus currently sits.

At the time the photo was taken, White House press corps photographers were kept on the sidelines, ABC News reported.

“I just sat in there for a moment and pondered the courage and tenacity that is part of our very recent history but is also part of that long line of folks who sometimes are nameless, oftentimes didn’t make the history books, but who constantly insisted on their dignity, their share of the American dream,” Obama told donors later that day.

“Just when you think President Obama’s impossibly large ego can’t grow further, he makes it happen,” the staff at Twitchy said.

“President Obama loves to insert himself in other people’s biographies. He also loves to honor people, most recently Neil Armstrong and Vice President Biden, with pictures of himself. All. About. Him. His laser-like focus never wavers from his own image,” Twitchy added.

In May, we reported that Obama inserted himself into a number of Presidential biographies.

The official White House biography of Ronald Reagan, for example, includes this footnote:

In a June 28, 1985 speech Reagan called for a fairer tax code, one where a multi-millionaire did not have a lower tax rate than his secretary. Today, President Obama is calling for the same with the Buffett Rule.

“God Bless Rosa Parks! Too bad she would be embarrassed by the idiot in her seat,” one person tweeted.
